This iPhone is a smartphone brand based on the iOS operating system. Unlike Android which has Google Playstore, on the iPhone there is an App Store that is used to download applications. There are a range of millions of applications available for free or paid on this App Store. For how to download it is also fairly easy just need to press the 'GET' button on the desired application then wait until the application has finished downloading and installing on your iPhone.
However, for the default settings of each iPhone let the App Store to update all applications automatically if there are the latest updates. This is indeed very helpful for users who have WiFi in their homes, but it is quite disturbing for users who only rely on quotas only. Therefore it is better to turn off the auto update application on the App Store in the following way.
Disable Auto Update Applications on the App Store
1. Turn on the smartphone and then enter Settings with the gear wheel logo.
2. Scroll down find and press the iTunes & App Store menu.
3. Then there will be several menus to disable it, namely:
- Music which functions to enable or disable automatic downloads in the iTunes application.
- Apps that function to enable or disable automatic downloading of new applications.
- Books & Audiobooks whose function is to activate or deactivate automatic downloading of books in the iBooks application.
- Updates that function to enable or disable automatic downloads or updates on installed applications.
4. Please uncheck all menus to disable auto update.
To be more secure so that auto downloads or updates are no longer active, you can scroll down a little and find the Use Cellular Data menu. Uncheck the menu so that no applications will auto-update if using cellular data.
That's the easiest and safest way to deactivate auto update applications on the App Store. Hopefully it can provide useful information for everyone. Thanks.
